When I workout on my Oculus Quest 2, I have the sense on my non-dominant wrist and it logs btwn 4000-5000 steps in a 40 minute cardio workout. I don't a single inch on the floor. Is there any way to turn off the step counter during a cardio workout???

Hello @SunsetRunner and welcome to the Community. Since you are staying in one place on the floor, try wearing your Sense on your ankle. As long as you aren't a die hard fan of no show socks, try tucking your Sense in your sock about an inch or so above your inside ankle bone. Many users do this and I get a heart rate trace when I do this. If this works well for you and you want an ankle extender strap, search a site like Amazon for a third party band.
All wrist worn Fitbits count steps based on arm movement. The basic assumption is that an arm swing is accompanied by the rest of the step with your legs.
