Sense depolarized

Accidentally wore my Fitbit into a MRI machine for. couple of minutes. It no longer will allow me to connect to the charging cord. Literally pushes it away. Is there any way to fix this??

Are you sure?  Sense charger connector is always polarized.  If repels, have to turn 180 degrees.

I have turned it around. I accidentally had it on my wrist when I went into an MRI machine. My mistake

I have tried turning it around multiple times. I accidentally had it on my wrist when I had an MRI.

I accidentally had my watch on my wrist. I think the watch itself is depolarized

Hi @Altadog - if when holding the watch with display on in your left hand and holding the charge cable with it's wire to the right of the charge unit in your right hand as shown in the manual,  it repels, it may well have been affected.

Next time you have an MRI take the charge cable with you!  Lol

Seriously, you can buy a magnetiser for things like screw drivers, see if you can get one big enough to remagnetise your watch or ask the hospital to do it.

As the charge cable unit is quite small you may be able to reverse polarise that, though the polarity of the device may be horizontal instead of vertical.

Great idea. I will give it a try. I wonder if I should put the watch in it though since its the piece that went into the MRI
