I got my sense a few weeks ago. I do get my SpO2, Skin temperature, HRV, RHR, but I have only got BR and sleep stages one night. I have adjusted the band up and down, tried it loose and tight, changed the arm, rebooted the phone and sense without success. I have noticed that I have to log out of Fitbit when I have used the mindfulness app or the relax app. If I do not I will not be able to log see anything in the Mindfulness app. I will be thrown back to the previous page

I am unable to get sleep score, using versa or my new sence, my iphone is compatible with sense, phone and Fitbit both up to date with software. I’ve reset phone, deleted and reinstalled app, reset Sence, set up completely new profile account, tried all the suggestions online, worn Sence tight, loose, normal, tried both wrists, even has in on inside of wrist to try that. Had tried positioning it one, two and three finger widths on wrist, I sleep for 6-7 hours at night and get a heart rate on heart rate part of app, get basic sleep registered but never a sleep score. Always says can’t get constant heart rate reading, which seems ridiculous **ahem** constant heart rate shows on app! It’s picking up skin temperature and heart rate variability on health metrics part if Fitbit app, plus Sp02, resting heart rate all showing too. I’m at a complete loss as I’ve tried everything, I’m not sure what sleep position would stop for it not getting sleepscore, when I get constancy heart reading in heart rate section of app.
I released to see others having this issues too on forum as All the people I know with versa or sence get sleep scores. I’m really frustrated I can’t and don’t know what I’m doing wrong!
Can you please advice what positions may prevent getting a consistent heart rate reading?
I’m having exactly same issues, get same suggestions from Fitbit support via email but they can’t specifically answer any of my questions so I’m at complete loss. Do you get sleep pattern (basic info)

Im having the same issue, my Fitbit sense says it hasn't tracked my sleep, my app says it hasn't, i bounced between the two refreshing and syncing, it wasn't until I went to the website and then clicked through to the app that the information came through. Maybe that is the case for others.

I have tried all of these suggestions and more and nothing works. Totally frustrated as main reason I bought sense was for advanced sensors and I’m getting no better than my old versa!

I've had the FitBit Sense for around 10 days and so far it has only tracked my sleep successfully for around 4 nights, and got no readings at least 5 nights. On one of the nights that I woke up in the middle of the night, it only successfully tracked my first 3 hours of sleep.
I've tried restarting it but that doesn't solve the issue.
Also, sometimes I take it off in the morning and put it on a bathroom marble surface, and it still thinks I'm sleeping - even with no heartbeart. WTF?
Luckily I still have an Oura ring, which reliably works every night.
I am very disappointed with the FitBit sense. I thought it would be better than Oura, but my mistake. Oura is much more reliable.

My watch has become better in the new year. I have gotten all result 20 days and have 5 days without recording of sleep stages etc. I have no clue bout what the reason for this changes may bee.

This problem has not been answered!!seems like lots of people having this problem , we keep being given the beam troubleshooting and it doesn’t work! I’ve tried everything suggested, nothing works so that I get sleep score or stages. I only ever get basic sleep data which isn’t even that correct! I’m now comparing to a phone app called sleep stacks and that is way more accurate just placing the phone by side of bed using phone sensors! Even takes my pulse on waking using flashlight and camera!! I get a sleep score on that app, called sleep cycle. So why does my sense not pick up this information when it’s meant to be top of the range sensor!
Apparently tracker can’t get consistent heart rate reading.
I get skin temp but that’s it! So it’s picking up information but not enough for the sleep score or HRV, or BR!
I’m wondering that too, I’ve tried everything support have suggested and night works. I have low blood pressure and relatively blow resting heart rate. Surely the sense with its advanced sensors should be able to account for this!
I’m having exactly same problems! Have tried everything that support suggest and nothing works.

Where did you download sleep stacks app from? I cannot find it.

My Sense quit tracking Sleep Patterns, Breathing Rate (BR), Heart Rate Variability and Stress Management mid-January. Bought the Sense in November and all were working fine. Have tried everything noted on the forum (switched wrists, wore tighter and looser, facory reset, latest updates installed, etc.) but to no avail. Is there an update in the works? Or do I need to request a replacement Sense? Any ideas?

I’ve had same problem, I got someone else to wear for a day and night and all the readings like and sleep scores came up so I think it’s got something to do with me having low blood pressure and sense doesn’t get a constant reading. I’ve returned mine and now have Apple watch which tracked heart an everything else perfectly!

Me too. This is the single worst branded product I think I've ever purchased. Almost noting about it works:
Luckily, I also have an Oura ring and Oura is better in every way.
I am so frustrated with Fitbit Sense that I'm just going to throw it in the trash.

Hello Chris
My sense has not been able to take my sleep stages the last 30 days the beginning of February. So far I have only 21 nights with measurement of sleep stages and of course I missed also other health metrics.

I've tried everything to get sleep detail and it rarely works. Had it on so tight it felt uncomfortable. Tried both arms. Did it all but it still fails constantly to record sleep detail and give you a score. Tried chat a number of times and when they see it worked one night and not the previous four they deem it fixed !! Very disappointing. It worked fine for the first month and then it was horrible !!! I wish I could return it !!!

I have had no sleep data at all, done everything that Fitbit have suggested and more, worn on both wrists, tight, loose, have exhausted all positions on wrists, even tried my ankle in desperation, nothing, get he same message every morning, can't get constant heart reading. therefore no detailed sleep data. After trying night after night for nearly two months (I really wanted my sense to do everything it claimed it could) of different scenarios and getting absolutely no help from Fitbit other than suggesting I do what is already on their troubleshooting on website, (they have given up on me I am sure,) I have returned my Sense. I'm am wondering if the reason some of us are not getting readings is we have low heart rate? I do and have low blood pressure too. I had another family member wear my sense a few nights and they got sleep score! so I really think the señor on the fitbit's don't work well with anyone that has low heart rate. I can confirm that I have low resting heart rate as my new smart watch picks this up without missing a beat, new smart watch from competitor is AMAZING and never fails to miss a heart beat. I was told by the store I purchased I could not return my sense due to heart reasons and their store policy but they happily returned once I mentioned consumer guarantee act as it is not at all fit for the purpose I bought it for, and that was to track sleep. I now have a seamless connection between my new smart watch and my iPhone, so I guess my advice is not to mix APPLES with pears.

how is this a best answer? it doesn't answer anything, other than repeating the troubleshooting that is already available on the Fitbit website, and by reading all the feeds on this, everyone that is having the trouble with no sleep data has tried everything! getting the odd sleep data score once in a while and then presuming all is fixed by the moderators is not acceptable! I have tried EVERYTHING possible and more, and still got the same answer each morning once I synced my Fitbit to phone, couldn't get constance heart rate! I think the sensor needs to way better, and maybe the appends looking at too? it seems to me that the users that having the trouble with this quite possibly have lower than that is deemed to be 'normal' resting heart rates, which Fitbit doesn't pick up on. Anyway, I think this should be reopened as it is clearly not fixed or has a best answer, it is not answer if people are still having ongoing problems with no or very little basic sleep data.
I agree, I definitely think its something to do with low resting heart rate, I have same problem. always get message saying I'm seeing simplified sleep data as device couldn't get a constant heart rate, also cant get any stress management or anything as cant get constant date. very frustrating, have returned my sense now and extremely happy with my new smart watch which picks up every low heart beat.
definitely return it if not tracking sleep, as that is one of the features it is supposed to do. I returned mine for same reason and now have different smart watch which am extremely happy with.
