Language button does nothing when I press it on my Sense. Using Pixel 4 XL. Course speech to text is completely useless. It never works. Well it did work one time for me today. One time. This watch is just buggy. It won't even change time zones on it's own.

Thank you for the information. That worked for me too. The massive amount of steps from the moderator didn't work. Thank you again!
Going to my account on Fitbit.com did the trick! Thanks! I had done everything with support (factory reset, app settings changes), but they did not direct me to my online account on Fitbit.com. Timezone was apparently "stuck" on where I had been the previous 4 days.
Fitbit support actually issued a return label to send my watch in for an exchange. Last time they did that (watch would not charge), I had to call them up and see what was going on with the replacement, as they had my Sense for almost a month. Apparently it was lost in their outbound queue. I would prefer to give them my CC and they cross ship a replacement (if one is needed) rather than this "ship it to us and when we get your watch, we'll ship a replacement to you" policy.
But in this case, no shipment needed. Yay!

Just came back from a business trip and had this issue. After reading all the steps everyone was going through and did the one initially from the "best answer" about changing to manual and restarting.
Turns out in my case the app settings had somehow changed itself to Manual instead of Automatic. I'm not sure if that happened due to changing the phone's settings from automatic to manual did it but at the very least, toggled it back to automatic and all's good.
I'm with y'all though, I've been wearing Fitbit since the charge HR and it's embarrassingly hilarious how bad all the sync software *continues* to be. Hopefully Google will clean it up now that they own them.
Best AnswerSo, this is the permanent fix, thank you @jandeanne , but FitBit, this should really be on by default with the option to turn off. This is creating a lot of friction for your users.
Best AnswerI’ve had this problem intermittently.
I found that by simply force quitting the Fitbit app on my phone (iPhone) and restarting it, the watch (Sense) changed time zones properly.
Much easier than the previously recommended steps.
In my experience the answer to this lack of syncing of time zone is simply to close the app (fully, ie on an iPhone swipe up and away the app) and then reopen the app. Once reopened, press sync and now the time will synchronise.
I'm still having this problem after several years of the bs fitbit manual workaround. When will fitbit fix this major bug???? Even after I select automatic toggle, it will intermittently return to off.
I too am an airline pilot and this very simple issue is a big deal.
Please don't tell me it's my phone's problem as this is definitely not the case!

Hi @C5Drvr - which steps did you try? Do you by chance have syncing issues? See Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
