A few weeks ago I switched from a Fitbit Inspire to a Fitbit Sense because the device had stopped responding.
Now I’m facing the same issue on my Sense: black screen, no light at the back from the captors, can’t restart the device (even if I held the button for 10s), not able to connect it to the app.
Is this issue recurrent on ALL Fitbit models? Is there any other way I can reset/restart the device ?

In all probability the battery is flat.
There are known problems with the charger pins - check all 4 are equally prominent, if not, it won't change. You can contact Fitbit Support directly. They should be able to send you a replacement charger under warranty.
