Sense inaccurately tracking steps

The last few weeks my fitbit has gone haywore with the steps count. One minute it’s at 3,000 steps then it jumps to 9,000 when I haven’t done any steps, them it goes back down. It’s making me doubt what i’ve actually done for the day and is really frustrating! Could someone explain why this is happening?

Hi @Artwilkie - this is a known issue currently affecting users - see Unreliable step counting bug

There is nothing a user can do to resolve it, the only work around is to turn off Bluetooth during move hours and to do multiple manual syncs when Bluetooth is turned on again. Other measurements are affected if the steps are wrong.

Thank you.
Is Fitbit working to resolve it?
Reading the community forum, seems like it’s been going on for a while, which is not good!

Hoping it gets rectified soon, otherwise I may have to switch to an Apple watch

I cannot turn off bluetooth as I have other apps (mfp, workout app) which require it.

so now because of the fitbit issues, everything else mist be put on pause?
