Sense issues

I had a great first week of usage with my new sense but over the last few days my battery life has taken a huge hit on first charge it lasted 6 1/2 days before I charged it again and then dropped from 100% to 19% in 2 days. The only thing that changed was a few app updates via the Fitbit mobile app. I have also noticed I've now got duplicate options showing for the high and low heart rate settings in the mobile app also my sense has become really unreliable when syncing sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I tried a factory reset but then the sense fails to connect to the app again and won't search for WiFi during the set up procedure. I'll try set up again but it seems to software bugs that are letting this great but of tech down. I'm also receiving the same fitbit notifications multiple times at the same time. Anyone got any suggestions?

The factory reset removed the tracker from your Fitbit account, have you removed the tracker from your phone? This is donevtgrough bluetooth. 

BTW a factory reset will normally add more problems, it rarely fixes any.

Yeah I removed removed it and had to reboot my phone before it would recognise the sense again. Got it all set up and running again but I seem to have the exact same issues so I'm guessing it's all down to software.

I just bought my sense today.  Getting it set up took three tries but it finally happened.  Then after a few hours of it seeming to be working fine I was setting up some of my stats and such and it began not syncing and dropping connection in my Bluetooth to the Sense Controls.  After many attempts at restarting the sense, and my phone, and uninstalling the Fitbit app and reinstalling it I gave up and did a factory reset as well.  Getting the Sense rebooted and firmware updates installed took another four or five tries and now it won't connect at all to the app to sync.  I contacted customer service through chat and he had me go to my profile page in the app and hit "connect new device" which booted the sense off and when I attempt to add it again it says "Sense Found!" But just spins "connecting" for about 5mins then says try again, restart device, restart bluetooth and if still having issues contact customer service! 🤦🏼‍:male_sign:. I'm about to return this thing and just spend the extra money for a Garmin Forerunner 745!!😡

Having Bluetooth and WiFi connection problems.  Does not find my 2.4Gig or 5Gig WiFi network during setup to do the firmware upgrade.  .  Tech support said is only compatible with 2.4Gig WiFi.  Tried manual 2.4G WiFi setup and that failed.  After WiFi failure selected proceed without WiFi and use slower Bluetooth connection for upgrade.  This also failed even though had just connected, entered 4 numbers from Sense into phone and got green circle with checkmark on Sense during setup.  Wasted hours repeating procedure and then a couple more times with tech support.  Support guy said he has to send it to the next level and they would contact me via email.  Not sure how this will ever be resolved via email.  Forced back to my old Charge 3 that still works like a champ.  Have been forced to learn far more about the Sense than any customer should.  That was 6 hours ago, wonder if thay are just getting rid of me?

Having same issue currently. Ticket escalated to next level of support. Did Fitbit ever get this resolved for you?

It took 4 tries to finally get my Sense up and running correctly and have
it sync properly but after the 3 unsuccessful tries it's been working just
fine. I love it after a rocky start! Hope you get yours figured out! I
did three factory resets till it finally worked right.

Next Level Support is supposed to contact me via email. Have not heard
from them so far and have little faith this problem can be resolved with
email. Still waiting for the email. Godot.

Good to hear you overcame the problems.  I was experiencing connectivity delays throughout setup.  My best alternative may be to return the Sense.  Will give next level support another day to contact me before pulling the plug.  My time is valuable.  This is more than a toy so it needs to be dependable and a stress reliever.  Currently it does not work, wastes my time and creates stress. My Charge 3 has worked like a champ since day 1.
