In the past I could keep my hand on the treadmill and it would count all steps. Now if my arm isn’t actively swinging the steps aren’t count. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix?

Hey there @elainesharrison, welcome back to the Fitbit Community!
It's normal to see a slightly lower step count than usual due to missing movement, but your device should definitely still be tracking steps.
Can you confirm if you have already restarted the device? If you haven't, let's try that now. You can find the instructions here.

@elainesharrison - if the restart doesn't help try moving it further away from your hand, up your arm. This is assuming you are using the same equipment in the same fashion.
The watch is normally not designed to measure steps without a certain amount of movement though it may just be able to detect steps from vigorous body movement if less stabilised by the hand remaining in a fixed position.
