Sense not measuring sleep data correctly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My week old sense worked fine till I charged it.  Now it has no measurements while I sleep.  (The last two nights).  Should I return it for a new one or go back to my charge 3?

I have reset my sense and it still does not track anything overnight except the sleep logs information that I less than three hours which is completely incorrect.

Should I just return this fit bit???

Hi @fdupandtired, it's good to see you here in the forums. @blf14689, welcome on board.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I understand where you're coming from about your new watches and let me give you a hand with this matter. To work on this together, may I know if you got a message in your sleep log explaining why you received sleep patterns? Also, did you use the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app instead of simply wearing it to bed? As you may know, your Sense will capture sleep stages and sleep scores based on the heart rate data, however if you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely, you may only get simplified data.

That being said, I'd recommend to give a try to the following:

  1. Double check if the Fitbit app is updated.
  2. Restart your watch.
  3. Wear your watch higher on your other wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone) to sleep. The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  4. Once you're awake, sync with the Fitbit app and check your details.

I'll look forward to your response.
