Sense not syncing with ios

I got my sense 3 days ago. I set up the device and all was well. Yesterday I noticed when I tried to manually sync in app it just kept saying “syncing is taking a bit long hang tight” and it never does sync. I’ve force closed the app. Forgot the device and set up the device again. Works for a short period and then won’t sync again.

Happens to me as well.  I just tried to forget the device and start over and now it won't load the device.

Same here. I've had mine for about 2 months and it is the most buggy Fitbit I have owned and I have been a FITBIT owner since they started making them.

My phone did an update on the app yesterday. 

I turned the phone off and on.

Then I had to re sign in to the app and now it is syncing.

Never had this happen on any app update before.

I ended up reaching to customer support. They were going to email me troubleshooting steps - never got sent. 
I rebooted the sense by holding the side button until the fitbit icon came on. I removed the app and reinstalled it, repaired it to my phone. After that it synced right away. BUT now I just went in and all of my Fitbit friends are missing...I can see them on my profile but can’t see a leaderboard...

Same here.  I've had mine for about 1 week and it sinc for the first 2 days and will not since after that.

Restarting the iPhone and/or the Sense usually gets me back on track with syncing issues.
