Sense not syncing

Ever since Google changed the app the sync process is a hit or a miss.

I have tried all the remedial processes suggested by others to no avail.

This morning the sync process will not even start.

I think you should replace the Google app with the previous Fitbit one, this worked perfectly every time.

I certainly will not be paying for a full subscription untill this is sorted.

After multiple trial and error changes in my pixel 7a setup, I have managed to enable syncing between the Fitbit app and my phone by allowing nearby share for my devices.

I had the same problem today. I tried to sync the app and show data. All I got was a quick progress line at the top. I ended up turning off my phone and then turned it back on. The app told me Bluetooth not connected. I checked the devices and sense was not connected. I connected and synced the app. It worked.

I have been having this same problem for days.  No sleep data unless I input manually, squirrely zone minute tracking/details.   It feels like it is related to Google junk but I don’t know how to fix it.  On of your responses talked about “pixels” as a solution, but I had no clue what you were talking about.  Please help, if you can.

My mobile is a Google pixel.
Since Google bought Fitbit and changed the app my updated Fitbit app no
longer synced with my Sense watch, after trying various remedies suggested
by others with the same problem and without any success I might add.
I found that the following works for me, goto your phones setup> nearby
share>nearby devices>select the Fitbit app and allow permissions for this
app.
Hope this also works for you.

I’ve tried all the suggestions, and they eventually work but at least once a day I can only sync by turning off and restarting Sense, then turning Bluetooth off and on on my Pixel 6A. This is a recent development. It’s ridiculous. I found a mention somewhere else that the Ford vehicle app was a problem, so I even removed that from my phone, which is a pain. I thought it helped for a day, but now I’m right back to having to restart my Sense daily.

If you sill login to Fitbit with a username and password then you have not migrated to a Google login yet. Using a Google account login means you no longer use a username and password.
