Sense occasionally doesn't sync

Sense occasionally doesn't sync, will not update some apps because it won't sync. I have restarted phone, restarted sense. Still says looking.  I have set up the wi fi on it numerous times. It also occasionally reboots itself. Any other ideas?

Hi.  I am using OnePlus 8t with andriod 11. I am also having same issue it keep loosing connection

My Fitbit sense has randomly stopped syncing also. I have to remove it from Bluetooth and reconnect it, restart both my phone and watch. I use an iPhone XR, both my iPhone and Fitbit are running the latest software. 

I used to use the Fitbit Versa and never had syncing issues with this iPhone XR. My husband brought me the sense for my birthday in December 2020. 

FitBit - I love the sense, and I love the data it gives me with my cycling and my normal daily activities, please fix the syncing issue, it’s a real nuisance.

OK, I also received my first Fitbit at Christmas - the Sense, so I have nothing to compare it to. For the first 3-4 says, I had some real syncing issues, and I asked for Help from this community. Recommendations such as restarting both devices and turning Bluetooth off and on, actually helped. At this point, as soon as I open up the Fitbit app on my phone, and keep it close by. my Fitbit begins to sync. I'm thinking it needs to more than just a day or two to adjust to start effectively working. 

Be patient for just a few more days!

When is the next software update that will make this more stable?  Just got my Fitbit and setup Jan 7, 2021.  Same problems as all the others.  If this keeps happing I am returning and giving up on FitBit.

The sync issues continued for me.  I returned the sense and bought a Garmin.  I have been a FitBit user since the first generation and the Sense was my 5th watch.  I charged my previous watch and tried to get it to connect, but had the same issues.  Their developers screwed the pooch on this last update.  I was a loyal user, but wanted to respond to you guys to let you know to stay on top of your 1 month return date.  I was a few days past mine and had to dispute the return with my credit card company to get FitBit to issue a refund (even as a loyal user for 4 previous devices).

@Hayhaymally May I ask which Garmin you purchased?  I'm in the same boat - this replaced a Charge 2 for me and my husband is ready to throw this in the trash because of my constant issues with this "smartwatch".  We purchased our Sense watches thru Costco, so at least I have some time to return it. Thanks!

I purchased my sense through fitbit directly, I finally returned it to them
and ended up buying a Galaxy3 watch.

I am trying the Garmin Vivoactive 4s at the moment.  I really love the data on the app and the watch is great quality.

Syncing Sense is a chore. Sometimes restarting Sense works but it actually hasn't happened yet that my activities synced seemlessly. When I finish my workouts all the data captured by Garmin and Suunto is available instantly. With Fitbit it's lottery. Today it took me half an hour of struggle to sync the watch. The exclamation mark appears almost every time:

I can't see the workouts instantly on the dashboard or in the app because the watch refuses to sync. I think, syncing issue is even worse here than when I owned Ionic. Ionic sometimes didn't want to sync while Sense most of the times refuses to do so. Oh well...

Anyone have any new information? This is my third Fitbit. The sense it turning out to be total crap. I have rebooted my phone (iPhone 12promax) Xmas gift, installed new software update, restarted my watch, turned Bluetooth on and off. It still won’t sync.

Have Sense since Christmas ...at least once a week have problems syncing phone...tried turning off phone, turning off Bluetooth, restarting sense and regularly this does not solve problem. Following day go through same routine and then sense will sync... all very frustrating. Expected better considering cost of sense.

I purchased my Sense in january and at least 2-3 days a week it wont sync with my account online, or my phone or my tablet! also weather goes blank, issues with settings i put in my app not being seen on my sense! very frustrated!

This is the second night in a row my sense doesn't sync anymore. Get your act together and do something about it. Right now I am very close to selling the watch and never return to fitbit.

Fitbit Sense will sync, but "On-wrist calls" will not sync.

I've had similar problems. I'm even starting to have problems tracking my sleep and at first I thought it was because it was low battery, so I charge it when it gets to medium and I've loosened up the band so it's not too tight over night since I move around, yet still get basic stats and no number. It worked fine the first week I had it. I've had it stop syncing throughout the day randomly and in the morning I always have to attempt to synch it which takes at least 45 minutes. Everything is up to date (as much as it can be since there's not a version of the app ready for my phone to be able download of the newest version, the 3.4), it is allowed to run in the background, the timezone is set, everything is fine, but I keep having this issue with syncing. I restart both my phone and the Sense multiple times, try to turn on and off the bluetooth but when finally the Sense pops up and I try to connect, it refuses. Literally refuses. Once the Sense pops up and it refuses to pair, it will synch because apparently it is paired without being paired. This is an issue. Seriously. There's no reason I should be losing an hour of every morning because it's not working properly. Apparently it having problems working with the LG Stylus is not new and I thought that something that is new would have things already together to have them function properly, especially at the price tag for this smartwatch.

My FitBit was working for awhile, but now it hasn’t synced for almost two weeks. This is so annoying. This device is becoming worthless.

I'm having all these same issues. I've done everything on here and nothing. Fitbit reset itself on Monday night around 11:45pm. It's not sending me notifications to move or when hourly goal is met. Menstrual cycle notification on watch is not the same as on app. Screen is not turning on when moved. I was really super excited to get the Sense but kind of really want my Ionic back. Seems like these issues have been going on for a while. Will they be fixed after so many complaints? I've only had my sense for 2 weeks.

Mine has done this for over a year, it is frustrating to have to keep resetting it. I appreciate that fitbit has responded but disappointed that in nearly 2 years it appears they continue to leave the issue unresolved. I was excited for the release of the sense have been using fitbits for many years now and for the expense just expect a bit more effort from the company to actually resolve these issues.
