Curious if you folks are happy with your fitbit sense purchase or do you wish you had bought something else. i.e Apple 6 series?
I'm trying to decide if its worth getting or not or if i should just get the apple one

Kind of. It is actually really awesome for fitness tracking and various metrics. The downsides are that it scratches extremely easy (no gorilla glass here), has sluggish interface, is pretty useless offline with the app (true of all Fitbit) and heart rate tracking is unreliable for some. As a smart watch it is meh at best. As a fitness tracker I feel it is amazing while remaining stylish. I don’t regret my purchase but I do wish I was a bit cheaper.

I have had a fitbit sense less than 24 hours and I regret it.
Poor sensors.. poor software and very limited app support. If you want to get anything useful out of it you have to pay for the additional monthly subscription.
The only thing the sense has going for it over the apple watch is the battery life. Do yourself a favor .. spend the extra and get an apple watch rather than wasting money on a fitbit sense.

For the price you pay, you may as well get an Apple Watch. After 6 months, my battery drains quickly and the screen has started to pixelate. My previous fitbits have lasted years. I don’t think this one will last the year.

I originally had a Galaxy Watch Active 2. When Samsung released the ECG update my watch did not work since I did not own a Galaxy phone and a Samsung phone was required which still makes me cringe. Last September I got the Sense and I love it. Fitbit really does need to add on demand skin temperate/SPO2 readings. Otherwise I do like the watch a lot.

If I could go back in time, I'd buy something else. I am very unhappy with the Sense. It's a beta product and barely works properly. I am anxiousy awaiting the new Samsung watches and never turning back. Too many issue with the Sense to be happy with it.

At least fitbit does have excellent customer support and will replace it when it fails.
My first fitbit was surge. That was replaced a couple of times . Then rather than replace I upgraded to a iconic.. that was replaced a couple of times.. then I changed to a charge4. When that failed I paid the extra and got the current Sense.
So I only ever bought the original fitbit surge... the rest were obtained via warranty claims.. That is the only reason I am still using a fitbit as they are junk. Otherwise I would have moved to something else like an apple watch etc

I’m dealing with it but not very happy. My original Fitbit Charge 3 only lasted two years. and was hard to read. The Sense is definitely easier for me to read especially outdoors. But the app is freezes up when adding food and will not show Google calendar on agenda. No matter what I’ve done it doesn’t fix it. The strap is extremely uncomfortable. If you get it with the free six months of premium, wait 30 days before you get the premium because it looks back at the last 30 days anyway. The temperature and oxygen reading is only an average for the whole night if you can tolerate wearing it during the night. The EKG is poor quality. I needed notifications of high heart rate during exercise because of a health issue I have. But it only will give you notifications of high heart rate when you’re at rest. Not helpful at all. I wish I had spent a little extra for the Apple, but was already familiar with Fitbit App.

I was very supportive for Fitbit over the years on forums etc. But my Sense (an expensive watch) doesn't do well basic features like counting floors. My Sense count false floors like crazy. Yesterday I had 72 floors registered and only 4 climbed in reality. This is not an isolated case, many people reported this. This feature is a basic feature that works from the first trackers in the industry. Even Fitbit One is counting floors accurately. What is disturbing is that even after the last update the floors are counted wrongly. This means that Fitbit doesn't "hear" its customers.
I reported also the following glitch: In Google Assistant, if I choose to Reply by voice, the language is always English even though the last time I chose another language. This feature is useless for another languages. What is the point to choose every single time the language I need, because Sense doesn't remember my last choice? Maybe from yesterday I become English man and from now on I will speak English. The last Fitbit OS update didn't fixed this and for me this doesn't make sense.
The calories are inflated like crazy also. In my case, Fitbit overestimated the daily calories reported with 480 calories. Almost 500 calories every single day. This is ridiculous, because if someone use this number for loosing weights will be fat in 2 months.
This calories overestimation is a Fitbit signature, read all the forums. Fitbit didn't do nothing about this. Year after year they kept the same wrong algorithm for some reasons that are beyond me. The old algorithms, based on "speed" rather than "Heart Rate", are more accurate. My old Fitbit One is accurate and is beyond me why Fitbit changed what was good with something that is obviously wrong.
Otherwise, Fitbit Sense is a watch in the good direction, but failing to repair basic features is just ridiculous.
