Sense's battery drains fast

I have a Moto Z4 (Android). My Fitbit ionic had a longer battery life than my Sense. I pretty much have to charge it everyday.

Do you have the SpO2 app installed on the Sense?

Yes I do and since that snore option is there I need to charge the watch every other day. I switched snore registration off but it doesn't help.

Yes I do and I can't find a clock face that isn't always on that does the SAO2  thought that might be why

The clock face no longer records SpO2, their is a hidden app that does the recording and it uses a lot of juice requiring the tracker to be charged almost every day.

My sense is draining within two days but I’ve also noticed it charges to 100% very quickly now than it did before. Is it possible that while it shows it is fully charged, it actually isn’t? Mine has only been doing this very recently, I can’t say specifically if it has been since I updated the firmware but I did update that fairly recently. Why does a correction to the firmware take so long or is it the hardware that is the issue?

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members. @Rich_Laue Thanks for your great help.

I'm sorry you're having this experience with your Sense, and thanks for every step tried on your own. As you may know, the battery life will depend on how often certain features such as GPS connection, SpO2 data or Spotify are used. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, but just to take those conditions into consideration. You may also have to charge your watch more often when using the Snore Detect feature, so make sure to turn it off as described here in case you don't want to use it.

Additionally, I'd recommend trying the tips suggested in this help article, fully charging your watch using the charging cable that came in the box and monitoring its behavior in the next days.

Isn't a bit strange that since the snore option is there the battery lasts
only 2 days even after switching it OFF!
I haven't changed anything else in my behaviour so how come that the the
battery's behaviour did????

I was always very happy with Fitbit although my husband constantly tried to
convince me to buy a Garmin. I only have problems with my Sense lately. So
I think next one will be Garmin!!

Turning off the snore function did help with battery life. But you're
right, not more than 2 days
