Has anyone else noticed that the Sense's notification vibrations are really weak? I have it firmly attached and I can barely feel the vibrations even if I know they are coming. I just changed from a versa, which I think had pretty strong vibration. Is there a way to dial it up a bit? If there isn't, which I suspect is the case, Fitbit needs to make this something that can be customized.

Best AnswerIs the Ap a third party Ap just for the SENSE? I can’t find it on the Ap store —- the one that has “8” levels?
That would work …
The BEST answer is early 2020. But the advice seems to be “set from normal to strong.”
In my case — often (once or twice in every 4 mile — run — I have vibrate notification set to every 1/2 mile — and it doesn’t even turn on.)

Hi @kitgreen - if you are referring to the SimpleVibrate app, it is available on all watches - just click on the underlined name to find it.

Best AnswerI fully agree that Sense is not as good as Fitbit Versa. In Fitbit Sense the vibration is weak on the INTERVAL WORKOUT, There, you really need the vibration WHILE RUNNING! Otherwise you cannot tell the difference between MOVE and REST periods. WE NEED A SOFTWARE UPDATE! Users have been complaining since 2020.
I have done that, that is, set the vibrations to STRONG. But if you then go to Exercise mode, to do some exercise on INTERVAL WORKOUT, the vibration is still too weak. When you are running on the "interval workout", you need to know when to MOVE and when to REST. For that you have to rely on VERY GOOD vibration ! This was not a problem on my Fitbit Versa 2. But it is a problem in Fitbit Sense.
The only solution is for FITBIT to do a software update for Fitbit Sense , to correct this problem.
Sorry I don’t understand your reply to my quest to get Fitbit Management to ask them to do a software update so that vibration would be strong enough that I and others can detect it WHILE RUNNING IN THE INTERVAL WORKOUT mode.
Your reply said “ it’s online “. Does this mean that a software update for fitbit Sense is coming?
Best AnswerYes I am aware of the fact that one can go to Settings and set the vibrations to STRONG. But even that is still weak when you are running. If you are on “interval workout “, you need to know when to REST and when to MOVE.
Maybe Garmin watch has better vibrations?

Yes thanks! I am also sorry that Fitbit is not doing a software update to increase the strength of the vibrations for Fitbit Sense. It would be so easy to do!!

I agree with you. This may be the last Fitbit that I buy because Fitbit Sense joust does not have the detectable vibrations needed when doing Interval Workout. That detection of vibration is needed to REST and to MOVE again.
Please try to telephone Fitbit Customer Services and ask them to fix the problem!
Best wishes,

Best AnswerYes I am very angry by the lack of response also the inability to add a sounds alarm app. I have returned mine and refuse to by Fitbit ( as its been taken over by google) or Google watches.
I have the same problem. Very upsetting. I have alarms for medication and I keep missing them. I’ve overslept countless times and missed meetings. My Versa worked perfectly. I thought the Sensation was an upgrade?
