Hi @Stathy - it is likely the watch is damaged but just in case try holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start, however it may not start, so sync first.
Also you can try changing clock face, if the watch will respond to swiping, it may not.

My Sense went black today. I've had it about 1.5 years. I had an Ionic which had no problems but they did a recall on that watch. About a week ago my Sense started to only vibrate & I no longer was receiving any notifications, phone calls were still displaying but nothing else, now the screen went black. I've tried to reboot, removed the screen protector, etc. I can't do a reset since the screen is black. From all the other posts I have been reading it sounds like even if I contact customer support all I'm going to be told is sorry you're out of warranty here's a discount coupon. Why would I want to spend more money with Fitbit if all I'm going to get is another headache in the near future. I take care of my products so I know it's a Fitbit problem not a user problem. Sounds like it's time to look for another brand.

Hi @Crysdolphin21 - if a watch starts behaving oddly it could have a fault.
Try syncing with the app. If this fails and the screen is black it could simply need charging, or is not charging, just in case see How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen
If it gets hot while charging stop immediately.

It is synced, it will charge, it is still vibrating when calls are coming in or notifications. It does not get hot upon charging.

@Crysdolphin21 - if you double tap the screen and swipe in any direction and get no display hold the button for a full 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
If you get no logo whilst doing that the screen would seem broken or disconnected.
If it is under warranty it can be replaced, if not your options are open but bear in mind later models don't have all the features you have. So can be a downgrade.
If by chance you get a display at some point trying syncing and changing clock face from the Gallery tile.

Seems super sketchy that we are all here to say the same "faults" are happening with the Fitbit Sense, all mysteriously around the same time. I smell a rat.
My Sense screen went black today. I was able to restart it, but the screen kept trying to go to the clockface change, then it outright shut off and is now unresponsive. I have only had this device since January 2023.
Sounds like they are programmed to fail so you have to buy the latest and greatest for more money. What a racket.
