I’ve received my Fitbit today and worn it for a walk to my mother in laws house and back I haven’t knocked it once or dropped it. The screen looks like I’ve dragged it through a bag of nails! it’s absolutely ruined! After 1 day?! Surely to this extent isn’t normal wear and tear? Does the warranty cover the screen? Can I pay to replace it? After paying nearly £300 I’d expect to be able to drop it and not have a scratch never mind just normal use causing this?

Sorry this happened so quickly, any chance you have some kind of buyers insurance? Like on your credit card or reseller?

Is there a protective cover on the screen?
It is made of Gorilla glass which doesn't scratch easily.
Also may be it is the displayed watch face that is not showing correctly, try swiping left or up to see if the problem persists.
As the fault may be something other than a scratched screen.
Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
