Sense screen is stuck on the Fitbit logo

Hi my sense is frozen on the logo screen. Tried restarting, resetting, nothing works. Any ideas or has it died?

Hi there, @Jen4321. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Sense before reaching out. 

If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:

  • Unpair your Sense from your phone's Bluetooth and also make sure it's no longer connect to your Fitbit app. 
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Sense again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Sense.

I have the same issue. 

I noticed it hadn't updated for almost a week and did the steps suggested here, and now it is stuck on the fitbit logo and refuses to connect to the phone via Bluetooth.

Same here. I have followed all the above steps several times. Nothing. Mine is only 1 yr old!

So, nothing works. Sense just stays on the logo screen until the battery dies. Can't do anything. Any ideas?

Try a Factory Reset: Press and hold the left "button" for 8 seconds, release, press and hold again for 10 seconds, release, press and hold for 10 seconds and release. In this process you will feel 2 shorts vibration and 1 longer that means it is factory resetting.  You will need to do the setup and paring from fresh. Good luck.

That doesn't even work when it's stuck on logo, I've tried 4x and nothing I've restarted phone (shouldn't have to) 3x.  I've had this thing on charger all day.

Add me to the list. Mine just stopped 18hrs ago at last sync.

Logo is stuck on the watch face.

Have read so many suggestions to fix and none work. 

So many of the Sense watches crashing almost all at once and there are no solutions

Same here,  stuck on logo for days now. Nothing has worked.if your device is older than a year, there's no help other than a 25% discount on a new device. That's what was emailed to me from fitbit's warranty dept who was suppose to call me.

Spoke to soon. I did the factory reset. Went through the set-up steps, connected to wifi, download and install but started looping again. There's a communication issue between the devise and my phone.

I followed your steps and a red x popped up. I went through the set-up process. It connected to my phone and wifi. The download finished but the installment failed and it started looping again. Sooo disappointed.

Mine is still dead! And support hasn't responded either
