Sense stopped responding after a factory reset

My Sense wont restart, it was fully charged when I did a factory reset to see if it would clear out a few of the issues I was having with it. Now I can't get it to charge or show it's charging or start up.

Hi there, @SPTC7. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot your Sense before reaching out.

While reading your post I was wondering if your Sense is vibrating when you try to perform a restart or when you connect it to the charger? It seems like the factory reset might have drained the battery of your Sense and now it needs to be recharged in order to come to life.

How long have you left your Sense charging? If your watch is no responding after 1-2 hours in the charger, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

@SPTC7  -  It may have a flat battery and a faulty charger.

Check the 4 pins on the adapter to make sure they are all equally prominent and the spring pressure is ok by gently pressing with the back of your nail to feel a little resistance.

It had a full charge when I did the reset but now wont even charge? I have had it sitting on the charger for days but nothing. It's like it's not even trying to charge? I have tried two different chargers they were both working before the reset?

There are known problems with factory resets which in some cases fail and the watch never recovers, mainly with the older watches.

As your watch is under warranty, if you can't get it to work, take it back to the shop for a new replacement.

Oh wow ok, how do I figure out if it's under warranty still? I knew I shouldn't have done the Reset but I was having so many issues and all the advice pointed to the reset LOL

@SPTC7  - the watch has been out barely a year and you have a 1 or 2 year warranty.

You can check. On the watch go to Settings, scroll down to About Sense, => System info => Activation Date, at the top.

I did a factory reset on my sense after an online chat with a fitbit advisor as my sense wasn't showing messages or resetting I've only had it a week after the reset I couldn't get my sense to connect to Bluetooth or find it on my phone after hours I finally connected it though the side button still doesn't restart my watch hope you get an replacement though fitbit will know if your guarantee is still valid might be worth doing a online chat with them

@SPTC7  - if Fitbit support told you to do a reset of your Ionic and that failed, it's entirety for Fitbit to replace your watch.

Go back to them and request a replacement.
