Sense stops tracking exercise if Fitbit app is opened

When using these features if I open the Fitbit app on my phone the watch will stop tracking my activity and then reboot the watch. This is a repeatable bug and happens every time I try it. A very serious flaw in this programming

Are you using the Walk, Run, Hike feature on the tracker, or the ones found in the fitbit app on the phone. 

When using these features on the tracker, there isn't any live connection with the fitbit app.

I'm using the features in the watch while hiking, walking or jogging. Look
at my progress on my watch to see how I'm doing for this exercise. Then I
open the app on my IPhone to see how I'm progressing toward my daily total
. When I open the App on my Iphone 11 within seconds of opening the app on
the Iphone my watch reboots. Phone comes back the the standard watch mode.

Just to avoid any further confusions please confirm the following:
You start to record a hike, walk or jog on the watch and while the recording is running, you start your phone and the record stops, and you return to the clock face?
This only happens, when recording a hike, walk or jog, with no other activity or use of an in watch app, right?

Does this situation happens when the Fitbit app is on or not on your iPhone?

Do you try to use the GPS on the Sense?

Please, make sure, that you have the latest Fitbit app installed.

Does this situation happens when the Fitbit app is on or not on your
iPhone? (I've not see this happen any other times, It could happen but
never experienced another situation)

Do you try to use the GPS on the Sense? (No, would like to but haven't done
so)
