Fitbit sense stuck in reboot / startup loop. All prior posts have the same reset suggestion and it's not working on this sense. What else to do? Thanks

@PaulMe I tried that on two separate watches and it had no effect. At least one other person in this thread said the same thing.
I found it really hard to completely drain the battery. It would always retain enough of a charge to display a red "0%" on the screen. So, on one of my watches, I completely removed the battery and waited several days before reattaching it. That did NOT fix anything.

I haven't charged my FitBit since March 20th & it's still not dead. It is still flashing the startup logo & buzzing. I'm beginning to think it's possessed. My family has 3 of these watches, bought at the same time all started acting up like this within a week of each other.
My son bought 3 of them last Christmas only he gave me mine for my birthday in January.

Why is there a "Best Answer" that clearly does not work? I would like to know if calling the 1-800 is the only available resource we truly have to get a solution.

Yeah, that was my question. This is an issue without solution, and no formal response from FitBit. Calling the 1-800 will get you a frustrating conversation about all the things to try (disregarding the fact that nothing can possibly work while the watch constantly reboots), and ultimately ends with an email offering a discount!
Fitbit must step up and admit they have a serious problem here. A software or o/s issue essentially bricks the device. Unacceptable!
On the plus side I am really liking the Galaxy watch I replaced the Sense with!

Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. When the Fitbit logo disappears: Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

Except my FitBit is still stuck on the opening logo for well over 2 months now. It shows 0% battery life yet won't recharge despite my cleaning the back, the charger & using a brand new charger.
My son and daughter in law bought me an Apple watch for Mother's Day.

I have this issue now, tried every fix posted. Still stuck in an endless loop. Fitbit app removed, re-added, bluetooth off and on. Forget this device. Remove from account, but now it won’t set up again! Factory reset, reboot, still nothing!

I wish I could help you but there isn't any solution. Mine, after 2 months, still not dead but shows 0% battery life, and still stuck on startup icon & that incessant constant buzzing sound.
My son bought his wife & myself Apple watches. We are both happy women. I love my Apple watch.
Good luck & hope you are fortunate enough to find a solution. It's probably a software glitch that FitBit can't solve & refuse to acknowledge.

Exactly! Every time an update creates a critical failure, they want you to buy a new device! Jump ship while you can.
