Sense will not connect to GPS

Hi

I know this has been asked before but I have tried leaving my sense to connect to GPS for about 40minutes and nothing happens. Does it matter if you are inside or have a low battery? Also did try restarting my Sense and nothing. Is there a trick anyone has for a first time GPS connection with Sense?
thank you

Hi @Amy2507  the first time it typically takes a bit longer for your fitbit to determine its location but 40 minutes is too long.

To use GPS you need to be able to see the sky so outdoors and not indoors

Using GPS during your workout will use more battery so best to have a good charge,

Hope that this help.

Hi @Amy2507 as @Mike_Croy States, GPS is a line of sight technology. Heavy clouds, high humidity, or heavy tree coverage will affect the signals.

Yes the first time, or if you moved a great distance, like 100 miles, since last use will take longer.

Most units remember the location of last use which helps get a lock.
