Sense won't charge properly

Hello All,
Is anyone else's Fitbit slowly charging?    When I connect my Fitbit to the charging cable, after 30 seconds, I get a slow charging message and it takes about 4+ hours to charge.  I have,
- Cleaned the back of the Fitbit and charging cable
- Reset the Fitbit
- Tried different charging blocks
- At the most recent software version
Any help or is my Fitbit becoming useless?

I sometimes get that. It usually goes back to normal when I take it off the charger and put it back on.

I've been having this problem for ages, going back months, was on to support went through all the checks, cleaned pins, changed chargers. They even sent me a new cable!   Tonight I've spent 2 hours trying to get it to connect and it just won't go past slowly charging.  I've reached the conclusion this device is just a piece of crap and i'll never buy a fitbit again. Rant over.

Put the night mode can help it takes less energy and decrease the light.  I Can chargé it from 50% to 100% in about 45 minutes

A Sense watch should charge from 7% to 99% in 45 minutes, the last 1% takes about 15 minutes.

Here is how to make sure the terminals are clean and the charge cable isn't faulty which is quite a common issue.

How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

Have a look in the Gallery for clock faces that do battery monitoring, such as SimpleClockPro which tells you by when the charge should be complete. You can use that as a guide to know if your watch is charging normally. And as it logs the charges you can compare with previous ones.

thanks Guy, good tip on the clock face, but the real issue with the design or hardware/software can't be ignored.  The forums are full of people with this issue and Fitbit are not taking responsibility or offering real solutions.

Same here.  Been happening for months and I finally checked and my Sense is still under warranty for a little over a week.  Their response was to hope it gets fixed in a software update that they can’t tell me when it will come out, of course in the mean time my warranty is going to expire so if my problem isn’t software related I’ll be out of luck.  I’ve never seen a company fight a warranty claim so much.  Hope it gets fixed in a future update should never be the answer to a warranty claim.
