Sense won't complete the firmware update

My sense will not update. It shuts off and restarts itself during update and never completes. Says update failed

Thanks for the details provided, I'm sorry you're having this experience with your Sense. Given this situation, let me recommend reconnecting your watch to the Fitbit app so we can get update the firmware. To do this, please give a try to the following steps:

 

  1. Forget your Sense from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
  3. Restart your watch to refresh its performance and connect it to the charging cable.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Select your Sense, tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. When prompted, proceed with the firmware update and wait until it's completed.
