I have an iPhone 12 and can’t get WhatsApp notifications on my sense. I have tried customer support and they said to turn off for text messages as you can’t run both at same time. I have done that and still don’t get WhatsApp message notifications please help!!!

Hi, @Helpwatsapp , welcome to the community. May I draw your attention to this article How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? From the "Today" screen on your phone app touch your icon in the top left corner>Sense tile>Notifications. Make sure the slider in the top right corner is on>text messages>select "WhatsApp". Return to the Today screen & sync. If WhatsApp is not on the list check you have correctly installed the WhatsApp app on your phone and it is active.

I hope this is helpful.

Cheers

Hi it’s not worked, WhatsApp is installed as I use it all the time and the sense receives WhatsApp calls but not texts 😔

Hi @Helpwatsapp. Welcome on board. @Gr4ndp4 Thanks for your great help!

@Helpwatsapp Thanks for taking the time to contact our Support team, and the steps tried on your own. Because you're getting WhatsApp calls but not text notifications, I'd recommend checking these other settings:

  1. On your phone's settings, tap Notifications.
  2. Scroll down and tap WhatsApp.
  3. Make sure:
Notification Center is selected under Alerts.
Show Previews is set to either Always or When Unlocked.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. Try receiving a WhatsApp notification to test your Sense.

Hi, @Helpwatsapp, may I suggest you check you do not have "Do not disturb" on, it disables notifications among other things. Also, ensure you are not in a "Sleep" period on your device which does the same thing(check the quiet mode settings on your "Sense")

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers

I followed multiple steps and advice online to get my notifications back.
The advice above is the only thing that worked once you’ve followed all the obvious notification setting advice. It’s as if it’s an extra step that’s missing from the manual.
thank you 🙏🏽
