Sense won't reset and the Weather app not working

My Sense Fitbit will NOT reset.  When I hold the button it goes to the exercise app.  No matter what I do it goes to the Exercise app.  Also weather will not work.  I am so frustrated with the watch.

 

The first one was perfect.  Then it would not charge.  I had to send back and they replaced with this one.  It has been a problem from day one!!!  Wish I had never bought this watch!

For restart, you must have Exercise set as a 'press and hold' shortcut, set from Settings.  But that is okay. When you hold button and it goes to Exercise, just keep holding and after about 5 seconds, Exercise will go away and screen goes black; keep holding button and in about another 5 seconds you should feel a buzz and get the Fitbit logo which is the beginning of restart.  You can release when see the Fitbit logo.  Though I must admit for me sometimes I must not be keeping it pressed because it takes a few times to get it to work.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

No it does not go away. It logs into the exercise app
