This is the second fitbit ive purchase, i had the fitbi versa and it worked beautifully, now i've had the sense for a year and im so frustrated, i have sleeping problems and this is why i purchased it. It worked for a while and now nothing.

i have reached out and tried EVERYTHING proposed to me and i am fed up. My husband has the charge 5 and his sleep has never recorded his sleep. I was gonna purchase the sense 2 but im so done with fitbit. And we dont get the help we need.

Hi @Sylviedam - the Sense has a different HR sensor to the Versa and may be affected more by tattoos, if you have them.

A watch may suffer from various issues if it has some water damage or a fault, which usually coincides with short battery life or erractic behaviour, which can also affect how HR is detected and as a result how it measures sleep.

Have a look at your HR for the day to make sure it decreases at night corresponding to your actual sleep time.
