Sense won't track sleep stages

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Fitbit sense is not showing ANY REM or DEEP sleep for over a week now. It shows light sleep and awake. I have literally tried everything except a complete reset. I even tried my husbands fitbit versa during sleep and it showed all sleep stages. Grrrr. I'm getting frustrated please help. Thanks.

I have the same problem and have done a full reset. Thinking I might return it.

Hi there, @Healthyhabit@cayliffe Welcome on board.

Thanks for the details provided, as well as the troubleshooting steps tried prior to posting. I'm sorry for the inconvenience experienced with your Sense. I understand that you've tried some steps, but just to confirm, make sure the following factors that prevent you from receiving sleep stages don't apply to you:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your Sense from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app.
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your watch's battery was critically low.

That being said, please force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, restart your watch one more time, wear it about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone to sleep and sync it once you're away to check your details.

Hope this helps.

I returned it and bought a different brand. Could not get any timely
support.
