Since battery limiting firmware Sense giving wildly changing step counts

Ever since the battery limiting firmware update which means I have to charge every other day now, my Sense gives wildly changing step counts saying I did way too many for logic then soon correcting itself downward, I get 2 or 3 buzzing notifications a day that I have reached my step count goal. I have fallen out of love with Fitbit. I dont trust what it tells me anymore and the desktop version disappearing means I dont plan after 10 years to replace my device with a Fitbit.

These are 2 totally different things; completely unrelated. Please see this THREAD related to the step count issue. The step count bug appeared weeks after the battery update rolled out, and affects many devices other than a Sense and Versa 3. The battery update only applies to specific Sense and Versa 3 watches with a very specific model battery installed.
