Skin temperature shows +- value 3,3

Hey im having a hard time understanding the skin temperature values. Min to min during the night. It says + and what i assume is my baseline then +-  below. Is this simply an error and it should say -3,3? Not +- 3,3. And do skin temperature change that much during the night?

Hi @Pantrax. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the screenshot shared in your post. This is strange as it should give you + values and - values. May I know if you're seeing the same mistake in the Health Metrics tile? Is the Fitbit app also updated? If you've not done so, please log out from the Fitbit app, force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, log back in to your account and check your details.

In case you want to know more about the skin temperature and how your Sense records this data, check this help article.

I'll look forward to your reply.

Health metrics tile show as expected. The signs work and temps dont vary
much. Also here is a screenshot of temperature overview.

Latest app version.

Looks like it's a UI bug, it should say " - "for any values below the baseline.

Hi @Pantrax. It's good to see you here again. @N8teGee, thanks for your insights.

@Pantrax, thanks for confirming the values in the Health Metrics tile are correct and the Fitbit app is updated. Also, for the screenshot attached. To further investigate on my end, please provide me with the model and OS/software version of your phone.

Because your post didn't mention, give a try to the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Log back in to your account, sync your Sense and check your details in the Skin Temperature tile.

I'll be around, keep me posted.

Hi @Pantrax. I hope you're doing well.

Thanks for getting back with the requested information and for your efforts while trying the steps suggested above. I'm sorry that the skin temperature tile is still showing the incorrect signs for your values and because our possible steps didn't help, I've escalated this situation to our team so they can further investigate what may be occurring. I'll update this thread once I have more details from them.

See you around.
