I never had an issue on my old charge 2 with sleep tracking. On my new sense it consistently says I feel asleep 2-4 hours after I actually did. I've tried everything... Reset, factory reset, wearing higher on wrist, wearing on other wrist, adjusting normal /sensitive. Latest from Fitbit is they are "aware of the issue" and working on a fix. Is anyone else actually having this same issue? I've been trying meditation before bed to help improve my sleep, but right now I can't tell anything because the sense isn't working properly 😞

I agree with RonaldM we need to keep talking with Fitbit Support, however, I believe we should keep our chat alive as others will find some answers and hopefully join us in urging "Support" to do something seriously.
I called them yesterday and they recommended a restart, or hard start of the Sense, I did it and it worked well last night. I believe others had the same experience. But, none of us bought the Sense with the notion we would periodically have to restart the watch. Also, when you lose the data, there is no way you can manually put it in, so all the history is distorted.
If anyone has a better idea or knows how to enter sleep manually please let me know. Thanks to all and let's keep hope alive!

I have been trying everything that the support staff has recommended for about three weeks and my sense still doesn't record accurately, making all my sleep data useless. I have restarted, moved my sense form one arm to another, checked the sensitivity setting, yesterday they told me they are rolling out another firmware that could address this and other problems. I am going to hang in for a few more weeks after that, I want a new sense, or a refund. I hate to give up on Fitbit as I have had at least ten years with them, I think it was simpler when all it did was steps, time etc. I don't think they should have expanded into health related items until they had people on staff that could program it correctly.

The last time I posted was about three weeks ago, I'm just curious:
Is your sense sleep data working now?
My sense works a few days and then the sleep data is way off!
I am so disappointed.

The last two weeks it was 5 days out of seven I received sleep stages and a sleep score. So it's progress I guess...
I'm very curious if the firmware will work to make it more stable.

The firmware is suppose to be released soon, and I am hoping it corrects the sleep function. I have friends that have the charge and they have no problem with the sleep function working properly. I am not crazy about the looks of that unit, but if this doesn't get corrected, I will be looking for a credit and buying the charge model.
So disappointed with Google, I expected more from them when they bought Fitbit

I too am extremely disappointed in my fitbit sense. I too have tried all the recommended things....checked for updates.... move higher up the wrist...wore it tighter....rebooted....
Anyone else having problems w/charger? I've had my fitbit sense since Aug 1st last year. Charger was replaced end of March and now it's dead again.
Is 6 months a reasonable life expectancy?

I agree, just hoping the firmware fix, fixes it!
I like the looks, but I might have to change!

I haven't had any problems with the charger wire, I have learned that if you wipe the back of the watch and the charger where it connects with a little cotton ball with rubbing alcohol, it does charge faster and better.
Hope that helps!

My Sense is not tracking sleep at all, as though I am not wearing it. I've tried all sorts of things. How do I find out the status of the fix?

I recently had a replacement sense from Fitbit, and I was hoping the sleep tracking would be corrected, it is not. Sometimes it works most times it only track the sleep form when I go to bed, however if I get up at night and go back to bed and sleep another several hours it does not record the extra hours nor any of the other measurements for sleeping like restoration etc. I'm disappointed and still hopeful they correct it. I am about ready to switch to an Apple watch, but I don't know if they have figured out how to report the sleep information properly.
Good Luck .
