Sleep tracking

I went to sleep last night excited to see my sleep results as it's the first night I've had it. I woke up and nothing. When I manually entered it, it showed sleep cycles, but I thought it would automatically track my sleep? It's a pain to add in manually.

Hi @Kelsboyes.

Your device should track sleep automatically. I find sometimes it takes a while to populate though, anywhere between 5-20 minutes. Perhaps you need to wait a little longer after getting up to see the data show up?

It's also good to ensure your Fitbit isn't too loose on the wrist for accurate sleep tracking.

Some ideas

  • Sync your Fitbit to the app.
  • Clean your Fitbits sensors.
  • Try wearing your Fitbit in a different position.
  • Check your Fitbit battery level.
  • Change sleep sensitivity settings.
  • Don’t select “going to bed.
  • Restart Fitbit.

So it tracked my sleep last night, but only from 3 am until I woke up - I'm
assuming it just needs time to learn my heart beat and stuff. I also moved
it back on my arm more. We shall see how tonight goes
