I wasn't sure where to post this as it has to do with the sense but more to do with the Sp02 watchface from fitbit. For me the watchface doesn't show Sp02. It says sleep to update. I slept last night and in the morning when I woke up it said recording for a bit and then went back to saying sleep to update. I tried syncing to my phone fitbit app and nothing. Everything is enabled and all permissions given. I've even tried loading a new watchface and then reloading it again to the watch and I still have the issue. I know it's not my Sp02 sensor because I do get my sleep score in the morning in the app and it shows my 02 graph. Anyone else have a problem with this face as well? It worked on my Versa 2 just fine.

I had the same problem. SpO2 face installs but does not show O2; In addition the SpO2 App will not install-- i get the message that the watch firmware is not updated. Called Fitbit, basically they acknowledged after several calls that the watch does not yet have the necessary OS to run the SpO2 function (despite that it is advertised as a function of the watch (and one of the reasons I bought it). Not clear when the watch will get the software update. Very disappointing.

I know most of you know this but....
Just to be clear turning the phone off in settings is different than a reset.
A true reset for the watch is, press and hold the button on the left until the Logo appears
I have had one little bug and the best thing I learned was 1. Force stop the Fit bit App on your phone, 2. then press and hold the button on the left side.

I have been having problems with mine sinse the update. It doesn't record any data at all even if I put the Sp02 watch face. I PM'd fitbit on insta and all I got was the standard reply of a link on how to use the watch face.
08/12/2020. Up-date. I have tried all the trouble shooting that they recomend and still it's not working.

I have done all of those things. It is still not registering. It was working yesterday. I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I will see if it is back tomorrow when I wake up but this is frustrating. I purchased this for the heart functions. Need them to work

I have waisted hours of walking time today to try to figure out why these apps are not working.

@PattiBader please open your Fitbit app, go to Sense apps and check if there are any updates for SpO2 and ECG apps. If there are please install and reboot your watch.

It turns out that the watch needs an OS update for these functions to work. There is no way to just get the update -- the system just downloads it in some mysterious way on its own schedule. I was told that by frequently syncing the watch to the app you accelerate the download. It seemed to work because after several hours of trying the watch updated to the latest OS 44.128.4.15 and now the SpO2 app and watch face can be downloaded. I will see if it works tonight.

@Sgol @The recent firmware update is needed only for SpO2 app not ECG. I believe it was rolled out to all users today. When available there's firmware update banner in the Fitbit mobile app.
