Hi,
I bought the Sense for ECG. I downloaded the App. Set up appears correct. When I click on the Sense ECG icon on the device, it tells me to set it up on my phone. My phone indicates the Sense has it installed, but under Discover tab, there is no option for Assessments and Reports. Any advice? I don't have a paid subscription or Premium account.
Hi @johndevine123 the Sense comes with six months free Premium. Which phone do you have and is it on the list of compatible devices? click to see
I also have this problem. I went to Assessments and Reports, set up everything, even watched the video. When i open the app on my watch, it says "Set up on phone" over and over. When i click "Got it" it closes. Every **ahem** time!!
I use an iphone xs max, iOS 14.0.1. I'm so pissed with this device....nothing (BUT BOTHING!!!!) works on it!
On the Fitbit app
I’m having this same problem (Fitbit sense ecg app says to set up on iPhone). Followed the steps you list, and I tap Heart Rhythm Assessment. At the top it says “You haven’t taken a heart rhythm assessment yet. Get started from your Fitbit device.” Below that, there are five choices: Possible Results, How to Take ECG, How it Works, You Should Know, and Instructions for Use. I don’t see any questionnaire. So Fitbit is telling me to set up on phone, and phone is telling me to get started with Fitbit. I’m guessing I’m missing something?
Maybe this will help as I had the same problem last night. I had to do the steps a few times in a row as it seems to get hung up at that you have not taken your heart rhythm yet same as you. Just keep it open in the app and keep trying on the watch is what worked for me. Good luck to you I hope you have it working.
Best Answer@SunsetRunner who is the us that you are asking about? Or should I ask, what country are you asking about?
Best Answer"
Yes, it seems after all that ECG is not available for all countries. It detects your location and just disables all functionality without telling you. If you manually trick it by selecting USA, it will detect it and tell you that it is not available for your region. My question fitbit WHY don't you show this in the details when we buy it so that we know? you advertise this as a premium smartwatch, better than others since it has all those features (ECG, thermometer, sleep tracking, SpO2, etc.) which others don't have and at the end it has nothing. Why isn't there a clarification in the specs? i.e. ECG (US Only)
I'm not the one who designed the box @SunsetRunner. as for countries, each country has to approve the ECG app before Fitbit can turn it on. Best to keep an eye on blog.fitbit.com..
My ECG experience is that with the first receding I needed to have the Fitbit app on the Phone opened with a specific page. The watch displayed what page to open.
@Escudovod is your error in the Fitbit app or on the Sense?
Best AnswerLast night I used Fitbit customer support chat to resolve this issue. They told me that there is some sort of update coming to my watch (or the app) , after that i would be able to use ECG feature. They didnt give any timeframe for the update. However today in the morning I tried it and it works! I havent see any updates on my Sense or Fitbit app though.
BTW - i am in Canada.
I got it working on my sense watch the first day I got it also in Canada, I almost backed away from buying it as reviews said it did not work in Canada yet 😂 Happy I did not listen and happy you got it sorted.
