Same issue with mine, the step count is all over the place. Also now have to charge the battery twice a in 7 days vs once a week before and I have nearly all of the features turned off.

There is a running thread on this. Get on that thread. No solutions yet - the problem seems to be related to the 2/22/25 firmware push change.

Hi @gary1962 @motoscribble @ArcadeTechGW - this is a known issue currently affecting users - see Unreliable step counting bug
There is nothing a user can do to resolve it, the only work around is to turn off Bluetooth during move hours and to do multiple manual syncs when Bluetooth is turned on again. Other measurements are affected if the steps are wrong.
It is not related to watch firmware or Fitbit App updates or battery issues but is a server issue. It will work again once Fitbit fix the bug.
Note Stress score is also broken and again it is not watch/app related.

Is there an ETA for when this "bug" will be fixed?
This is still a problem as of 11:35 central time today (just now).
