Hi just to ask is anyone having problems with the step counter. My steps have not cleared and this is not the first time its happened about 3 or 4 times in the last couple of months. I'm thinking of changing my watch as I've had problems since I got it.

Hi, @madmum6, welcome, I'm unsure of what your problem is. At the start of your new day, the step total count in your phone app and on your device (which should match) should revert to zero and start your new day. I assume your "Sense" is displaying the correct time but if not have a look at these articles How do Fitbit devices sync their data? , Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and perhaps less relevant How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity? If your problem persists try restarting your "Sense", this video demonstrates the process. Go to the Fitbit app in your app tray on your phone and make sure any battery-saving function is disabled for the Fitbit app (some phones treat the app as non-essential and put it to sleep where we need the app to run continuously in the background). You do not mention the make or model of your mobile phone, most work well with the Fitbit app but some require additional attention Fitbit Supported Devices explains in detail.

I hope this is helpful but if you are still stuck please post here again.

Cheers

Hi sorry to say no this doesn't help as I've done restarting my sense the last time. In the morning it hasn't reverted to zero my phone is a Samsung S10+. I've had a fitbit for a long time but never had this problem but since having my sense I've had problems like my arm under my watch gets very red and itchy and now not resetting to zero on my steps.

Hi, @madmum6, thanks for the update It's a pity you are having these problems. Allowing you have followed the advice in the articles I suggest you contact "Customer Support" here, use the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. With respect to your reported rash may I suggest you check out Fitbit Wear & Care. If the rash is under the device itself mention it to "Customer Service" if it's under the band I know some successfully use an alternative fabric band.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
