Syncing problems AGAIN and it did not change time zone

My replacement Sense was great for a while. Now it’s not syncing again. The sleep information is very important for me but it almost never shows up on the device itself.

recently I took a 12 day to a different time zone. It NEVER updated the time.

id love to enjoy this device, but it seems I spend most of my time trying to get it to work. For crying out loud, do the update or whatever it needs to work properly. I’ll never get another Fitbit or recommend it afte

Hi, @Desertcarr welcome, may I draw your attention to How do Fitbit devices sync their data? and Why won't my Fitbit device sync? , I apologise if you have already seen these.

You may make progress if you "reboot" your device, this video demonstrates the process, do not factory reset your device.

Your issue with the time zone can be corrected in the online dashboard. From the home page click the settings gear wheel in the top right corner>settings>swipe down to time zone and select your correct time zone. return to the home page and sync your device. That should do the trick. If you are still stuck please post here again.

Cheers

Thanks! I had done all the things to sync but for some reason, it’s now working after many failed attempts. Finding the place to change the time zone was very helpful. I find it strange that this is not an automatic feature, but at least now I know. Thank you for taking the time to help me.

I do have continuing problem. When I do get it to sync, I almost never have my sleep stats on the Fitbit itself. Any reason for that? Any fix for it?

Hi, @Desertcarr , the sleep stats usually take some time to appear, it's not instantaneous. The time zone shift is automatic but sometimes needs a nudge.

I appreciate your help. The sleep stats do take some time and I understand that. But much of the time they never appear on the Fitbit not even by the end of the day. I get it on the app which is helpful, but not on the Fitbit itself.
