I just received my Sense yesterday and feel like it was a huge mistake. It syncs, connects to BT then drops connection. I am running an iPhone and know how temperamental they can be hooking up BT stuff but I will go to an apple watch if it means it's going to be fully functional which is what I am paying for.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled, forgot device etc. It shows phone calls, email notifications and others. Not text messages. Feel like its a setting?? I have rebooted everything about 10 times, updated all I can find and gone through all the troubleshooting I can find online but each time I have that eureka moment it doesn't work. Sometimes I can connect to it and when I try to connect the controls it still doesn't work or makes me restart all the connections again.. Giantly frustrating...
It seems to track everything its supposed to as far as the health related things, I just need txt msgs to show up, one of the reasons I finally bought one.

Also sometimes it shows connected on my Bluetooth screen but I don't get the little blue information icon.

As I wear mine throughout the day it seems everything else is working as far as notifications. I get email, phone call, retail payment notifications when paying with apple pay on my wrist. Just no text messages? That sounds like a button isn't ticked in settings somewhere.

It really should not be showing connected on the phones Bluetooth screen.

I am at a loss then if its nots supposed show connected. Either way the email notification of your reply popped up on it yet no text message notifications. Like I said before every other feature seems to work except that. If that's considered "normal" I am not sure if this thing is going to stay or not.

It should show as a trusted device ie: paired, this means when a connection is needed the connection is accepted.
Fitbit doesn't try to keep the tracker connected because it would use to much power.

Thanks Rich, that makes sense (no pun intended).
It looks like my home wifi is horrible.... we have had issues with the isp's installed router sucking.
I was able to get it on wifi at work and things seem better today.
My next issue is I am getting notifications for everything except text msg's.
What am I missing there? I have been through settings over and over with rebooting phone and fitbit countless times with no luck.
I will try a bunch of things now that the wifi seems connected.
