Text messages are not coming through my Sense

I am able to get phone calls on my sense but not text messages

Based on the information you've provided, may I know if you're an iOS user? If so, are iMessages the notifications you're referring to? If this describes your issue, please try toggling the iMessage setting; general > Messages > iMessage and verified the "Show Previews" was on "Always".

@4aimers Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're still not getting notifications on your Sense despite checking all the settings already. 

In addition to the steps you've tried, I'd recommend checking whether your Versa 4 is in sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:

• Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
• The screen's brightness is set to dim.
• The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake your tracker, firmly tap the screen twice.
• The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

To recap, there are two separate problems here. First, I do not get text messages on my watch. Second, the app always shows 8702 steps, and I have to refresh/turn off and on/et multiple times to get it to show accurately.

It is not a problem with the watch begin in sleep mode. The watch shows everything accurately and clearly. It just does NOT alert me to text messages.
