The correct strap for Sense?

My second of the 2 straps that came with my Fitbit sense has now broke .. ( not the problem). Getting the correct replacement is proving to be a far bigger issue than I thought. One side of my Fitbit’s strap slots, seems to match every replacement I can see on the market.  The other side (slot) is the problem. It’s different. It has ( what I can only describe as) a tongue or a biscuit protruding with 4 tiny holes on them.  I am really struggling to find a replacement strap to match this.. do I pull this out??

Hello @FTimothy and welcome to the Community.  It looks like there is a piece of the old band stuck in the pebble.  Does the spring loaded release lever move like it should?

Thanks for responding LZeeW! - really appreciate the help! The little lever moves like it should, but it has no impact. Nothing happens when I push the lever. It doesn't move the protruding piece in anyway whatsoever, which by the way, is very firmly attached the Fitbit itself. I like your suggestion that it may be a piece of the old band. I have read other problems users have had, and it sounds like I have to get this piece out. Your comment has given me the confidence to go ahead and force it out.

@FTimothy   Your pebble should look like this with the strap removed.  To me, the strap with the holes looks different from the strap with the clasp.  I think the end is torn off and stuck in the groove.

You were right! - You gave me the confidence to try to force out the stuck bit, - now I have my new strap fitted - thank you very much!
