The fitbit app is displaying two different run paces.

Hello everyone!

I'm having some trouble with my fitbit app and was hoping someone could shed some light on the issue. Thank you ahead of time for your help.

After manually entering my run into the fitbit app it has been displaying 2 different paces.

I manually entered my run into the fitbit app:

A timed benchmark run to measure progress by.

I ran a 9.5 minute mile.

When I look at the exercise page the stats are all correct. With a 9'30" pace.

But in my day overview it shows my pace in kmph 15'19".

I went into setting to change the units.

I toggled the units to kilometer.

And the 2 paces swapped places, showing the same two paces but on the opposite pages.

I returned the units to miles and again they swapped back, still showing the two different paces.

I deleted the app and re-download it. Still the same issue.

What am I missing? How do I get the paces to both be in miles?

It looks similar to the cycling speed issue where miles are converted again into miles. After I reproduced that issue for cycling I was kinda expecting something similar may happen to other metrics. 9'31 is seen as min/km and on the second screen is converted into min/mile despite 9'31 is already min/mile. There is exactly the same bug in cycling for the speed.

I put the numbers into pace converter:

As you can see, 9:31 placed as min/km gives 15:18 (Fitbit rounded it to 15:19 but it's all the same).

Here's the thread reporting the same issue for cycling and speed:
