The last update, which likely happened a couple of nights ago, has both increased the flexibility to register floors and has made it harder to register an accurate heart rate, making it harder to pick up zone minutes.
I just wanted to point that out. At least you guys are trying to fix it, but it's been 555 days since I started using the Sense, when are you going to call it an absolute failure for a tracking device?

Was this last update for the Sense, or your unknown phone model @opiatedsherpa?
My Sense is at version 44.128.6.12, the latest, for several months.

I think opiatedsherpa was referring to the app. I updated mine 5/27/22 version 3.60.
Like you Rich, I’m running the most recent version of the sense software. 44.128.6.12

Fitbit has abandoned the sense, it's been months since the smartwatch has even received a security update. Waiting for some news that is really useful and not premium. In fact, I'm waiting for when the fitbit sense will become a trusted device and not focused on premium subscriptions

I don’t know how to respond to that.

@Clove6060 @Rich_Laue I was referring to what I thought would have been a Sense update. Unfortunately, I haven't found a list of updates or the dates that they were released, which is frustrating. I just spouted off on what I assumed was an update, since I basically do some exercises on a daily basis and feel that the results do change.
I wouldn't be surprised if @IgorR11 is right and Fitbit has abandoned the Sense, because it has failed to be a top end tracking device from the start. I can't wait for the new trackers to finally come out, I'm almost 50 million steps invested into Fitbit and I would love an apology discount on the next model. (I'm not expecting it, but it would be nice.)

@opiatedsherpa i admire your devotion in Fitbit, ready to buy a new device from the same company that release a product (Sense/Versa 3) full of issues and bugs and not bothering to fix them with meaningful updates.

I agree with you, I won't buy another Fitbit and I won't sell my Fitbit sense to anyone either, because I feel like I'm being dishonest with an unresolved problem.
I thought that after the acquisition of the company by google it would evolve, but the company's long-time users abandoned it.
I've had this smartwatch for a year and I have two other brands from the main competitors, and the only thing I like about Fitbit at the moment is the community and sleep data.
If I were the CEO of Fitbit, I would worry, because their consumers are increasingly demanding wins the one with a better reputation.
