Time in bed versus time asleep

Not sure how this suggestion will fly but here it goes. Back before sleep monitoring, I could go to bed at 9:00, get up 6:00 and say that I got 9 hours of sleep. If I got up for 30 minutes I might say I slept for 8.5 hours. We didn’t count all the micro-awake times that our devices do.

Maybe what I’d like to see for FitBit to allow us to rule out awake times less than x amount of time. So maybe I would say not to include times awake less than 2 minutes. Now my total sleep time will be more accurate with how we’ve been measuring sleep for thousands of Years and I woke freak out at how little I’m getting.

I’m the first to admit that I feel like I got more sleep if my device SAYS I got more sleep!

Hi @Dinman127263. Sounds like a good suggestion.

I would recommend you post it over on the feature suggestions board (here) though, as that is the official route to take to suggest such things. It gives the chance for other users to vote on your suggestion, and also for Fitbit to gauge how popular it is.
