Why doesn’t rowing machine show up on the list of available under exercise for the Sense?.

Because it isn't one the supported types of workouts.

Whatever isn't a listed workout, I just manually track "Workout". After that you can rename it.

No way to add it. You'll just have to do "Workout" then rename it.
