Unable to access Sense apps while on exercise mode

I went for a bike ride yesterday and used the Sense for the first time. When I went into the exercise app and picked biking it tracked my ride really good but I couldn't use the watch for anything else. I couldn't even check the time. When I tried to do others things with it it wanted to cancel my bike ride tracking. Is there a way around this or is this the way it is? I was hoping it would track my ride in the background and I could still use the watch to do other things. It doesn't seem to be a very smart smartwatch if it can't do 2 things at once.

You can add "what to see" if you within the exercise app, chose activity and swipe up on the clock face.

@Stronggo Welcome on the Community. @LokeAa Thanks for helping our member.

@Stronggo It's great that you're getting advantage of your Sense, and thanks for your feedback. Before anything else, let me explain that currently it's not possible to access other apps or settings on your watch while tracking an exercise. I'm sorry for this inconvenience and I'd encourage you to vote for this idea posted in the Feature Suggestions board as this will help our developers to keep tracking its popularity and demand over time.

I'd also suggest checking @LokeAa's post to select what stats you want to have displayed on your watch. To learn more about how to track your activities, see this help article.
