I've had my fitbit sense for nearly a month and I can't even download a clock face onto it. I have tried everything from blue-tooth to wifi to using app on my phone and even my windows 10 tablet. NOTHING. Tried downloading clock faces and apps by Fitbit but it just doesn't want to download anything BUT it syncs every time I switch it on. Don't know what is syncing. NO APPS. 😞

Hi @ange9875. It's good to see you here in the forums.
Thanks for your efforts while using other devices to get your Sense working. It's odd that the clock faces and apps aren't installing even though your watch is syncing. Just to confirm, do you see an error message on the Fitbit app? May I know the model and OS/software version of your phone? Did you also make sure to turn off the Bluetooth from your tablet or any other device nearby when using your phone?
In the meantime, I'd suggest to the following steps:
I look forward to your response.

I am having the same problem.
I click on clock faces and it reads, "Continue installing? Some applications did not finish installing. Do you want to continue installing them now?" And it gives me the choice of "later" or "continue"
Clicking on "continue" the virtual sense watch face shows "Switching..." and the red line moves from left to right and back again several times and then errors out with the message of, "Unable to install. Install failed, please try again later."
I have deleted the Fitbit app from my phone and downloaded it again. I "forgot" the sense and then had it reconnect it from scratch. I rebooted my watch, I rebooted my phone. I can sync my sense but I can't change or finish loading anything. Nothing in "my apps" shows that it's trying to download, so I don't know what's trying to install?
I have the Fitbit Sense. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy s9.
Thanks! Jessica

I have an older phone but my windows tablet at the very least should have been able to work.
I do NOT get any error messages. I will check the blue tooth to make sure it is only paired with one device at a time.
What ever I do on the app on the tablet, it updates same info on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4

I am still having trouble with downloading anything on my Fitbit Sense. It has now been nearly 2 months and I am starting to regret having used 88,000 Qantas points to get it.
For me this watch would be invaluable but now I have to wait months to get a new mobile phone and see if it works on that. In the meantime I have a Fitbit Sense that syncs but can not download even a clock face let alone sleep tracker and steps, the other 2 most important features for myself.
So all I am left with is a Fitbit Blaze while good now has to be re-charged every 24-48 hours and often dies on me at the most in opportune moments.
I don't believe that having the Blaze connected to the app on any device, at the same time as the Sense, should affect how the apps download onto each watch. If it does then Fitbit have a hell of a lot of work to do to fix these problems.

Fitbit app is very restrictive. I need to CANCEL download, not get stuck in it FOREVER! One clock face is available and in use. The other 3 are unavailable and the one I chose to download is in download mode FOREVER!
Technical help needed! But where is it?

You can clear it [cancel it] by
In Android phone Settings * Apps Fitbit Storage - clear cache [not data] Force Fitbit shutdown [though it doesn't seem to fully] Log back in to the Fitbit app
*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones] |

I just purchased a Fitbit Sense and am having the exact same scenario as you describe. Did you ever get a resolution?

I followed the instructions and didn't work, when you open the fitbit app again, the other apps and clock faces are still "working"... I also tried erasing the cache and all the data, uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app and nothing works, is frustrating, we are regretting this purchase because Sense also has other issues with the inaccurate Heart Rate, the battery draining, etc....

@Harrimonster For the clock faces issue - it can happen if your watch is not properly synced, see Instructions earlier. Restarting both watch and phone may be necessary to sort it out.

I did all the step, and still cannot fix the issue. The only screen I see is the downloading..
