Unable to "export a PDF for your doctor" ECG function

Hello.

I just got a new Fitbit Sense and of course tried out the ECG feature right away!  This function works and they do save in the Heart Rhythm Assessment.  It tells me I have Normal Sinus Rhythm.  But I can't get the PDF function to work.  When I tap "Export a PDF for your doctor", it takes me to the screen that says "Exporting PDF. You'll get a push notification from us when it's ready".  But I never do.  I've done 3 ECG's successfully but I've waited and waited and nothing happens.

I'm on an iPhone 11.

Thanks!!

@VABeth awesome! Good news it's not Fitbit or your account. You can try reinstalling Fitbit mobile app on your iPhone and rebooting all devices. Perhaps it needs a clean install. Good call with Adobe! Happy New Year!🎄

@VABeth I remember when I did it first time it took a while. I dunno why it's this way. I think I did like 10 reports and there was nothing for an hour or so then all came at once. Perhaps reboot your phone and try again! You can also try on your mobile wireless instead of wifi to see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply!  I've done probably 25-30 over the past 30 hours (since 1pm EST yesterday).  I don't know how much longer I'm supposed to wait.  I have force-quit my fitbit app, rebooted my phone, and removed the sense and put it back in.  The ECG recordings are there, I just can't export to PDF.  I don't know what else to do.

@VABeth ughh no that's way too long. Can you try installing Fitbit app on other device (tablet, different phone preferably not iOS) and export from there. I'd like to test if it's something wrong on your account back-end or if it's iOS related bug. Also, try changing wifi to wireless.

YES!  I was able to load the fitbit app on my iPad and it worked. So what's wrong with my iPhone??

I will say, I also added an Adobe reader, which was really helpful, because I was able to export my Wellness Report to Adobe and view it on my phone, without having to send it to email (which didn't work either), or iMessage.

I had the same issue on my iphone.  Have your email and fitbit password handy before deleting the app.  Hold down the fitbit app button  for a few seconds and the uninstall button will display.  Uninstall it.  Then go onto google and look for fitbit iphone app and reinstall it.

To be clear, it's not the fitbit app itself, but the ECG app within the fitbit app. Go to gallery in your profile and go to your apps. Uninstall the ECG app from there. Then go to apps in your phone, clear the cache, force stop, and reboot. Now go back the gallery in the fitbit app and reinstall the ECG app. This is what I had to do on my Android Galaxy S22

I got it to work by uninstalling the Fitbit app **ahem** near every day and reinstalling , then inputting the email address like I was doing everything for the first time.  I was using it for a parent and since he is no longer around, I no longer use the ekg feature or the fitbit lately.
