Unreliable sleep recording

I've used fitbit devices for 5 years, but my current sense is by far the worst. I'm most interested in sleep related data and it does not reliably report it or 'health metric'. Will work for 2-3 days then not work for a week or so. If check position on wrist etc. Either hardware is defective or software is buggy!

No longer useful to me. Hope is it software and they fix it soon!

Hi, @75goats, welcome, you may be interested in this article How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? I apologise if you have seen it before.

You will see there have been many developments over the last 5 years, I hope this helps.

Cheers

Thanks for the attempt, but I've seen that page and am pretty certain 'operator error' is not the issue. I've used fitbit devices pretty continuously and this Sense is the first device that has been unreliable.

Hi, @75goats , thanks for the update, I can only suggest you try "Customer Support" here. I recommend you use the phone or the chat facility for a prompt response.

Sorry, I cant offer more help.

Cheers

I did chat with support last December when this problem first appeared. It was 'escalated' but ended with "We’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible."

Nothing since then and it is still not working so I'm frustrated..

I do plan to try chat again later today.

To close this, Fitbit has decided the device has failed/is failing.
