Update failed on app, sense screen remains install fitbit app

For 3 days, my sense has run out of baterry. When I charged it the initial screen appeared as if it was new with indication to download fitbit app.

I tried to sync, restart phone, retard watch, u pair it from the app, reinstall the app, but always same result:

The watch connects, I set up the WiFi, update downloads then install and I get update failed on the fitbit app (not on the watch) and the initial screen appears again.

I've done everything that is written on fitbit support (tried WiFi and Bluetooth, same issue, un pair from Bluetooth and restart, same issue)

My watch is just not working anymore and I would like to change it.

Hi @Romaind - the quality of your Internet connection may be an issue. Two things you can try

  1. Try " + Set up a Device" with the phone wifi off, with the watch on charge and near the wifi source
  2. Have a look at No internet connection there may be settings on your phone to change to ensure a direct internet connection which may apply to both mobile data and wifi on your phone, in case option 1 doesn't work.

To improve the process, it is a good idea to logout of the app on the phone and restart it and the watch.

Setting it up as a new watch [as it seems it got factory reset somehow] makes a new Bluetooth connection.

Hi,

Thank you but I already tried all of this.
Regarding the Internet connection, it's a 10gbps fiber connection and WiFi
is working very well.

@Romaind  - it's not the speed or how well your phone works, it's how directly connected you are.

Often things like security software and private DNS can be an obstacle.

It's a direct connection.
I mean it's been working well ,no change.
