Using the Sense as a Heart Rate Monitor

I'm considering purchasing the Sense to use it primarily as a heart rate monitor.

I will use the heart rate screen on the "SpO2 Signature" clock, unless there's something better.

How is the accuracy of the heart rate sensor? I remember the accuracy of the original Versa being a little off sometimes.

Hi @stantonarch - the accuracy is a lot worse and may not be reliable enough for your needs.

Even so there are plenty of free clock faces that show heart rate.

Hi @stantonarch  - same technology, so no better when moving.

What about when not moving? Is it still inaccurate when just sitting, lying down, or sleeping?

And does the inaccuracy tend to show a higher or lower heart rate?

@stantonarch - as mentioned it's inaccurate when moving and can be higher or lower depending on the person and type of movement and duration.

At rest it should be accurate in order to provide sleep analysis etc.

In short doesn't compare with the original Versa or Versa 2, so keeping heart rate on the screen would pretty much be pointless.

And because of the HR inaccuracy anything that depends on it, and much does, is also inaccurate, except sleep.
